We are a small UK based Independant record company located in Kendal, the gateway to the Lakes.

PhasingHz runs a regular music session in Appleby at Centre 67.

It is also a record label, currently Ben Mattinson and Fiona Clayton are both in the studio recording their albums.

PhasingHz aims to develop a download service for local and national artist in the near future.

The aim of the scheme is to help identify, and assist, children with exceptional potential, regardless of their personal circumstances, to benefit from world-class specialist training as part of a broad and balanced education, which will enable them, if they choose, to proceed towards self-sustaining careers in music and dance

The Westmorland Orchestra is made up of over 60 dedicated amateur musicians drawn from Cumbria and North Lancashire who rehearse weekly in Kendal from September to May and give three public concerts a year.

An orchestra of about 50 from South Lakeland conducted by Noel Bertram. Rehearsals are held on each Friday during term-time 7.00pm - 9.30pm at the Castle Street Youth Centre in Kendal.

Folk in the Barn events feature national and international folk artists.

Events are staged on alternate Fridays at Rosehill Barn (Rosehill Theatre) in Whitehaven

CumBrio is a long-term development programme for popular music in the county of Cumbria. We aim to provide a platform to bring like-minded people together in order to share their experience and skills. If you write or perform music as a solo artist or band and have an ambition to venture out on a musical career, we can provide access to a circuit of live venues and are here to help you.

Furness Tradition is a folk-arts development group based in Ulverston. The group was initiated by volunteers to celebrate, encourage and make familiar the musical inheritance of the Furness and South Lakeland area.
